Name
- The Club shall be called the Peak District Glamping and Camping Club
Aims and Objectives
- To promote the beauty of the Peak District
- To encourage sustainable tourism within the Peak District
- Ensure responsible land use for glamping and camping in the Peak District
- Advise landowners, inspect sites and license exempted land
- Promote small, well managed and responsible sites
Structure
- The Club will be managed by the Chair and the Secretary and an AGM will take place on the 1st April each year. Minutes will be made available on request.
Membership
- Membership is free and open to all regardless of race, colour, religion, sexual orientation and gender. All members must be over the age of 18.
- Landowners who are members of the Club may apply for an exemption certificate which will only be issued when the Club is satisfied that a site meets the full criteria, will have no impact on neighbours, will have no objection from the local authority and the Code of Conduct for the Club will be followed at all times.
- Members do not have and voting rights and are not eligible to attend the AGM. They can however make suggestions regarding changes to the club constitution and code of conduct by email or in person at any time.
Finances
- Any Club funds received through general operating activities will be used at the discretion of the Club with emphasis on ensuring continued support for the growth and maintenance of the Club.
